Together with our generous donors, Hope’s Closet has been able to serve 100 kids per weekend! This is a sign that the need is great. While we have packed a lot of clothing & supplies into Hope’s Closet, we simply don’t have room for more, causing us to turn donors away. That’s why we’re looking to launch the Hope’s Closet Staging Center—a warehouse near our retail store where we’ll be able to sort clothing, store off-season items, hold furniture and more. This Staging Center will allow us to continue serving the foster and adoptive families of our region in our current location generously donated by Nicklies Development, while still receiving donations to support the need. We’re currently fundraising to cover the reduced cost of rent for a two year lease.
Each wooden hanger, personalized with your own message, will hang in Hope’s Closet for every shopper to read. Choose to inspire families with a message, recognize an adoption date, or honor someone special. The message is up to you, and it will remain in Hope’s Closet for years to come.

Members of the foster community know first-hand what “It takes a village to raise a child” means. The Adopt a Star fundraiser puts that motto into action, so together we can cover a full year of rent for the new Staging Center. To adopt stars, just choose your favorite number and donate that amount. For example, star #13 is $13. We need to have all 200 stars adopted to reach our goal!
